The goal of the project is to produce a very high concentration of VSH drones to allow for successful open mating of queens that exhibit a very high degree of VSH behavior.

What Do I need to do? We will give you a queen cell or a virgin, and a drone frame. Install the queen and drone frame in your hive and you will be contributing high VSH drones to flood the surrounding area.
We will have 4 VSH breeder queens in 2 from USDA Polline, 1 from Jason Bragg, and 1 from VP queens to provide stock. We will then be selectively instrumentally inseminating crosses between the lines this year to evaluate as our breeders for next year.
