Most efficient way to make queens using the least amount of bees….but they are a STRUGGLE to get started. Not too bad for our first few this year:

The nectar is still flowing but the girls are getting restless and thinking about swarming….so it’s time to make splits and set some cells. This is video 1 of 14 of either caging queens, checking minis, etc.

Went through most of hives in Downs to check them post flood and luckily nothing was damaged or impacted! I have 12 videos of various lengths going through the hives I’ll be post 2-3 a day for the next few days!

Snuck in a quick check of 2 hives between thunderstorms!

We have gotten more rain than we know what to do with! A few of the apiaries got 10″ of rain in 3-4 hours causing some crazy flooding and losing a few hives…like literally floated away.
