With grafting season just around the corner and the hives all not being treated since late summer it was an ok time to do some checking for a potential vsh breeder that overwintered.

I checked 9 hives at random.
Hives 12 and 18 were mite bombs, reproductive mites everywhere.
Hives 13, 14, 15 all had 0 mites in 200 brood cells.
Hive 16 had 2 non reproductive mites in 200 cells hive 19 has 1 non reproductive mites.
Over extremely happy with the results, 5 overwintered high vsh queens to start the year and provide drones for flooding our mating areas!
