Hives 132, 133, and 135

Moved almost all my packages to 10 frame hives at my Downs apiary. Here are all the videos.

This hive is definitely a little frisky. I will be letting it go over the honey flow but she will be replaced late June and no drones selected.

The nectar flow is on strong now with black locust trees and honey suckle. Time to throw gear at the bees!

Sunday I made our first instrumentally inseminated queen. It’s a New World Carniolan VSH x Harbo VSH

Two hives at this apiary made it through the winter, this one was VERY strong.

Started moving hives that were out of room and starting to get plugged up with nectar and brood into 10 frame hives. This is the supercedure queen from our Harbo breeder from 2020.
