Will be doing more stuff in front of the camera this year vs always having the go pro.

Last of the inspections for all the packages I installed 04/16/2022. They seem to be growing nicely and will need some more room added soon!

I’m sure it was probably raccoons…they robbed me of 20 gallons of syrup 😦 Lesson learned….

Went through my three hives at home, unfortunately my go pro didn’t catch 2 of the inspections. Breeder had 8/9 frames of brood, Harbo supercedure had 5/6 and my ii had 3/4.

Here we are today on the highlighted day…two days before rain and 5 days before a HUGE jump in temperatures. 5/4 baseball game and track practice, 5/5 soccer game out of town w/ a track meet and 5/6-5/8 out of town baseball tournament w/ a side of mother’s day. Here’s an updated on the other hive that came out of winter with no queen: Few more package inspections:

Performed a mite wash on our 2021 overwintered, untreated breeder queen to see how things were going before we start making queens. I hand counted the washed bee just to make sure I had an official score. 1 Mite in 563 bees or .18%! Off to the races!!!!

Lots of inspection videos coming this week, mostly quick looks at nucs and rearranging over wintered hives to get them compressed back down into deeps out of mediums.

High winds but 80 degree temperatures had the girls out hauling in pollen and nectar. Lots of good things going on. Girls were all fed up w/ some nosema treatment via their sugar syrup.
