I don’t always make pollen patties in my wife’s lovely kitchen but when I do she’s at work, > 20 miles away and I have at least 6 hours to clean, clean, clean.

I use 2:1 syrup with some Honey Bee Healthy and pollen substitute. Add the pollen to the mixer and dribble water in as it is mixing. After the right consistency is achieved (like a barely runny cookie dough) I lay them out in tennis ball sized balls in-between pieces of wax paper and then fill a gallon bag. These are then immediately moved into the freezer or put onto hives.
