Performed a mite wash on our 2021 overwintered, untreated breeder queen to see how things were going before we start making queens. I hand counted the washed bee just to make sure I had an official score. 1 Mite in 563 bees or .18%! Off to the races!!!!

High winds but 80 degree temperatures had the girls out hauling in pollen and nectar. Lots of good things going on. Girls were all fed up w/ some nosema treatment via their sugar syrup.
