Carniolan Breeder Mite Wash 04/16/2022
Performed a mite wash on our 2021 overwintered, untreated breeder queen to see how things were going before we start making queens. I hand counted the washed bee just to make sure I had an official score. 1 Mite in 563 bees or .18%! Off to the races!!!!

Lots of inspection videos coming this week, mostly quick looks at nucs and rearranging over wintered hives to get them compressed back down into deeps out of mediums.

High winds but 80 degree temperatures had the girls out hauling in pollen and nectar. Lots of good things going on. Girls were all fed up w/ some nosema treatment via their sugar syrup.
